We are the best holiday camp!

Discovery Holiday Camps provides an opportunity for primary school children to access a safe environment during the school holidays. The safe, trusted, secure school grounds relaxes the children and their carers when dropping them off each morning. Each day, our programme of arts, crafts, sports, music, IT, learning, cooking and much more will ensure everyone is engaged and more importantly, enjoying their time with us.

Discovery Holiday Camps started in 2017 with the first location of Kibworth Primary School. Since then, we have expanded to other locations in the Discovery Schools Academy Trust stretching across Leicestershire and Rutland. We open our doors to all children from any school, giving them access to the fantastic facilities DSAT schools have to offer. Over the last three years, hundred children have attended, and being able to have a positive impact on as many children as possible is the ultimate aim.

“My child’s been to so many holiday camps and he said this is the best one ever”

“My children didn’t want to go but once they’d had their first session they were full of praise and couldn’t wait to return. I asked them to score the camp out of 100 and the responses I got were ‘100’ and ‘infinity’! They’ve asked to return in the summer. Mr Norton is a credit to the school/holiday camp as he made it so enjoyable for the kids.”
“Such a great idea to hold these half term holiday camps where children can still interact socially with their friends whilst making new ones. Such a diverse amount of activities gave my son an amazing week that he said he couldn’t wait to come back! Well done and Thanks to all who made this possible.”
“Great sessions really happy with the variety of activities, friendly staff and ease of booking and attending!”
“Excellent holiday club, very dedicated teachers giving up their holiday to entertain children who had a great time and came home very reluctantly at the end of the session!!! THANK you and we look forward to the next one!!”
“My child really enjoyed the camp and I would definitely look to book her on a future camp. Well organised and good communication made it an easy process. Also the costs also made this possible as other camps can be very expensive.”
“Brilliant. My child wanted to go all week and was disappointed one day when she was picked up early!”
